Mom: Why didn't you answer your phone? Roxanne even paged you! I was gonna ask you to buy me wine but you didn't even call back.
Dad: Well I never got a page or a missed call. The only call I got was the one from 10 minutes ago when I answered at the gas station.
Mom: You were by the gas station? Why didn't you think to buy me turon?
Dad: But you didn't say anything!
Mom: You were out already. You didn't even ask if I needed anything. And I shouldn't even have to ask. I buy you your favorite snacks and drinks all the time. I'm always thinking of you. Why can't you be thoughtful like that?
Dad: I'm sorry! I'll go out and get it right now.
Mom: No, never mind. You're home already.
After 20 years of marriage, my dad still doesn't get the little things about my mom. I guess this is where the 80/20 rule applies.

Every time I try to press that button, I always think “No, just five more minutes”. That happens over and over again, till it’s 2 am and it finally hits me that you’re not coming back.
Quality Service
In between watching those two movies, I made a quick McDonald’s stop with Neil to get food for my siblings. The lady taking my order was having a hard time hearing me cause she messed up twice while taking it. Neil asked for ice water. When we pulled up to the window, she handed me the cup. It was really light and I was confused so I shook it a little and I couldn’t hear any splashing....
